our MISSION
The mission of IMPACT Ministries is to influence those who live, work and vacation in Myrtle Beach and along the Grand Strand with the life-changing love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Creatively sharing Christ with people, ministering to their needs, assisting to plant them in a church body, and growing the Church through providing intentional mission involvement.
Our statement of faith is that the scriptures are God's living word written by man, but inspired by the Holy Spirit. There is only one God, yet in 3 persons. There is God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Belief in Jesus is the only way to Heaven and into eternal life with Him. One must confess that they are a sinner and there is nothing they can do to earn or gain their salvation except through Jesus. They must believe that apart from Jesus’s sacrificial death on a cross as a sinless person, we could not get to Heaven. We believe that Jesus lived a perfect life and because He was without sin, He became our only hope of salvation. We believe the scripture teaches that one must confess publicly that they want to receive this free gift of salvation, but that it will cost them the rest of their lives in submission to His calling and obedience in discipleship and the making of disciples. Finally, we must publicly be baptised to demonstrate the physical death to ourselves and the being raised to walk in a new life in obedience in Christ. We do not believe that you may lose your salvation for God’s word teaches that we can not be plucked from His hand. But, just as in any relationship, the more time we spend getting to know Him by studying the scriptures and praying, the more Christ will reveal Himself, His plans and His desires for our life.

our story
Ministry along the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach began more than 60 years ago, with its original roots being campground ministry. Over these many years, it has been under the names of Grand Strand Ministries, Intracoastal Outreach, and now IMPACT Ministries. Little has changed in the vision of this ministry--to reach the lost tourist and workers--but the creative ministries in which we reach them have evolved. Over the years, each missionary has worked diligently developing many new ministry tools and teaching local churches how to get into the communities that had been entrusted to them and share their faith creatively.
In 2009, the Resort Ministry ministry position came to a close with its former partnerships of the North American Mission Board, South Carolina Baptist Convention, and Waccamaw Baptist Association. In 2010, God confirmed to Todd that he was to recreate the ministry he had been called to 8 years earlier. IMPACT Ministries was created in March of 2010 and a board of local pastors and lay leaders were put in place to oversee this ministry. From January 2010, God has grown this ministry by leaps and bounds beyond our greatest prayers. God began to work in the hearts of new staff members drawing them from their current ministry positions and to Myrtle Beach to serve with IMPACT Ministries. This calling did not come without great sacrifice. Each of these new staff have had to resign their church positions, sell their homes, and move to Myrtle Beach. Yet the greatest task still lies ahead, they each have to raise their own financial support to serve here as missionaries. This is no easy task and calls for a total dependence on Christ’s provision for our every financial need. Yet, God always provides our every need to that which He calls us to. You can be a part of our calling by donating to one or more of our staff. We can’t be here serving without you.
